Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 450°F.
Step 2
Arrange slices of baguette on large, rimmed baking sheet (or 2, if needed) and lightly brush each side with olive oil.
Step 3
Place baguette slices in oven and let toast for 6 – 9 minutes or until they’re crisp and nicely golden on top.
Step 4
Remove from oven and let cool. Then top each slice with a hearty schmear of braunschweiger, a dollop of cranberry jam, a sprig of thyme and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt.
tips
You can add or substitute other flavors of jam to create more variety or add seasonal appeal.
