Crafted Pork Patty Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients

1 Crafted Pork Patty (pork sausage + black beans)

1 breakfast biscuit

1 egg

2 slices smoked gouda

1 leaf lettuce

Butter or oil, to grease pan

Directions

Step 1

Set griddle or nonstick skillet on medium-high heat and cook Crafted Pork Patty for 2 minutes on each side.

Step 2

Meanwhile, add butter or oil to another skillet or griddle over medium heat. Whisk egg in bowl and then add to skillet, stirring occasionally to keep from burning, cooking a few minutes until reaching desired doneness—a little firmer than scrambled eggs but a little softer than an omelet.

Step 3

Cut biscuit in half and layer with one slice of gouda, lettuce leaf, Crafted Pork Patty, egg, other slice of gouda and top of biscuit.
